Matches are bidirectional. The platform looks for counterparties whose listed asset overlaps your want, and whose want overlaps your asset — category, sub-type and value range all considered. Strength is ranked so the closest pairs surface first. Geographic proximity weighs in for property and vehicles.
Nothing, to start. Listing is free and the Transfer Commitment Certificate is free — we are keeping it free while the community grows. The only charge that can ever apply is a small bilateral commission on a cash differential, and only when one party pays the other to balance an uneven swap.
Your phone number is gated behind four conditions, all of which must be true before the other side can reveal it: a confirmed mutual match, both parties verified, the listing in active state, and explicit reveal-intent recorded by the requester. The reveal is logged and notified — there is no silent disclosure.
When both parties sign, OwnerTransfer issues a Transfer Commitment Certificate — a platform-authenticated record of the parties, the assets, the terms and the agreed differential. Each side carries it into their own jurisdiction's legal process. Solicitors and notaries reference it as proof the transfer is binding. It is the bridge between the on-platform agreement and the off-platform completion.
Basic accounts get the matching engine and can list at the standard fee. Plus adds priority moderation, listing boost in match results, and reduced commission on differentials. Pro adds featured placements, dedicated review, and the lowest commission tier — designed for owners running multiple transfers a year.
When the assets aren't equal in value, the lower-value side tops up — that's the differential. OwnerTransfer charges a bilateral commission on the differential only: each side pays a share, calibrated to membership tier. There is no commission on the underlying asset values, only on the cash that moves.
Verification runs through Smile Identity for supported countries — a passport, driving licence or national ID plus a selfie liveness check. Where Smile coverage doesn't extend, the platform accepts manually-reviewed government-ID uploads. Verified accounts unlock phone-reveal, agreement signing and the Certificate.
Featured listings sit at the top of category pages and the home featured strip. Plus and Pro members receive monthly featured credits; basic accounts can purchase placements à la carte. A boost runs for 7 days and is most effective on listings that already match well — it amplifies fit rather than creating it.
